GETTING THERE
From India, one flies to Tbilisi via Doha or Bahrain. Average flight time, including the stopover, is 10 hrs. There are regular flights from Mumbai, Delhi and other major metro cities.
VISAS FOR INDIANS
Indian citizens need a visa to enter Georgia. One applies electronically through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia website.
If you hold a valid visa or residence permit for the following countries, you would be eligible to enter Georgia without a visa for a duration of 90 days.

Legal Requirements & Documentation
However, before any ceremony, you will need to register for a marriage license. Marriages may be registered at wedding houses, any branch of the Public Service Development Agency and Public Service Hall. Marriage registration may be held in a festive atmosphere in Wedding Houses in Tbilisi, Batumi, Kutaisi, Rustavi, Sighnaghi, Akhaltsikhe and Mtskheta.
Once you register, the marriage license will be issued immediately. This license is non-expiring and you can use it anytime to get married. Once you have the license, you can go about hiring a professional wedding planner, selecting a wedding venue, sending out wedding invites and of course getting ready for the big day!
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED
1. Joint written application of persons intending to get married; 2. Identity documents of persons intending to get married; 3. In case of registration of marriage of a person aged 16 – 18, the birth certificate of a minor and a written consent of parents, consent of a guardian and document certifying his/her guardianship powers, or a court decision on the consent to marriage; 4. In case of a person’s second marriage, a document certifying the termination of previous marriage; 5. If an application is submitted by a representative of a person intending to get married, documents certifying power of representation and identity of representative.

NARIKALA FORTRESS
The Narikala Fortress has seen centuries of history. The castle impresses you with its high walls, and its impregnability of towers, situated on Mount Mtatsminda, offering a magnificent view of the whole of Tbilisi.
Founded in the IV century, it was initially called the Citadel Shuris-Tsikhe that is translated as "enviable stronghold”, but during the Mongol intrusion it received a new name - the Naryn-Kala, which is translated in Mongolian as "Small Fortress". It is now fifteen hundred years old; the fortress still overlooks the ever growing Georgian capital.
JVARI MONASTERY
A sixth century, World heritage site as declared by UNESCO, Jvari Monastery stands on the rocky mountaintop at the confluence of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers, overlooking the town of Mtskheta, which was formerly the capital of the Kingdom of Iberia.
There is also a pillar inside the cathedral made of a cedar tree that is said to have cured diseases and healed blindness when touched.
